If you aren't doing a lot on April 29th, I highly suggest participating in this Readathon. The community through blogs, Youtube, Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, and more is amazing. You'll be surprised at how friendly and helpful everyone is. There is so much going on that there's something for everyone! I personally this year will be updating my blog, checking Twitter and Goodreads, and posting at least a couple of pictures on Instagram. You can follow me at:

Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon April 2017
For the past 2 years, I've looked forward to the bi-annual Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon. This will be my fourth time participating, and I can't wait for it to begin. I start off my day a little before 8 am, when the Readathon officially starts for my time zone, and I make a cup of coffee and snuggle with a blanket on the couch. I always set my phone alarm for the first 50 minutes of an hour reading, and the last 10 to stretch, grab a snack or drink, and check in on social media. I've found this works out great for me because it gets me up and moving and keeps me connected. This year is really exciting because I'll be updating my progress to my brand new blog!

I'm getting so excited for the Readathon to start, guys. I've got my house (mostly) clean, a breakfast casserole in the fridge, and ...

Good luck for readathon! I am so jealous of people who get to start first thing in the morning. Official start time is 1pm where I am. I'm usually heading off to sleepy land around hour 13.
ReplyDeleteThanks, good luck to you too! I've always thought afternoon starts would not be good for me, I'd get up too early from excitement and be exhausted by 10 or 11 pm.
